A Unique Approach to Canine Obedience Training

We provide the only psychology-based dog training service in Ireland, studying your dogs’ thought process to ensure a better training experience for you and your pet. During the session, our experienced trainer will examine your house dynamics to understand how your dog feels as a member of the home, or “pack”, as he/she would see it. After establishing this, our trainer will work to change the house dynamics and establish you, the owner, as the alpha of your home. This is done through reward and praise-based communication and will quickly create a more respectful, manageable and enjoyable relationship between you and your dog.

Dog Training FAQ

When should I start training my dog?

You should start training your dog as a puppy, after they have had all of their injections. Training your dog as a puppy is important to deter them from sniffing other dogs’ urine or faeces, as they are more vulnerable to diseases at this age. Scot’s K9 Obedience Training can begin to train your puppy from 16 weeks.

Is it ever too late to start training a dog?

No. Dogs can be trained at any age. Scot’s K9 Obedience Training provides professional and successful dog training services for both young and older dogs.

How do I obedience train my dog?

Obedience training a dog can be difficult if you don’t know how to communicate with your dog properly. Scot’s K9 Obedience Training provides communication-based obedience training services to clients in Leinster.

How can I learn to train my dog?

The first step in training your dog is learning how to train. Scot’s K9 Obedience Training provides dog owner training advice to help you learn how to obedience train your dog.
